Deep Halo is a security staffing company that provides bouncers for a number of public spaces, including: businesses, bars, concerts, third spaces, special events, festivals, house shows, hardcore shows, pop-up events, and more.
Founded in 2021, we began with serving the Fishtown area and have since expanded throughout Philadelphia, including the Center City area.
In the state of Pennsylvania, 72% of business owners consist of racial minorities, women, and the LGBTQIA+ community. These communities are what Deep Halo represents and strives to protect.
What We Do:
We regularly train bouncers to be scheduled for security services in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. Same-day services and booking for future dates are available.

Our Approach:
The days of “knowing a guy”, or having a disassociated bouncer greet your guests and protect your staff are behind us. With our bouncers, we build character as well as physical presence, encouraging their personalities to shine while implementing updated security methods that suit the needs of the atmosphere.
With over 3 decades of experience in the security scene spread throughout our staff and management, we use this vast knowledge of our industry to maintain a unique and resilient team.

About Jerell
Founder Jerell Potts established Deep Halo in 2021, with 14+ years of experience in security and a desire to change the stigma around bouncers, who are often chosen based on physical appearance. His goal was to start a company based on character, and to have a reliable team who can show restraint and understanding, while representing that you don't need to look a certain way to be a bouncer. Women can be bouncers, trans people can be bouncers, anyone can be a bouncer with the right training!
Being a non-violent bouncer first is not easy in a world where minorities unfortunately experience discrimination and violence, but at this point Jerell is a pro and wants to lead others in his example.
